The Bible was written to people who lived 2,000-6,000 years ago yet, amazingly, it is still completely applicable to our modern society. Some of it was meant solely for the people to which it was written, yet there are still lessons we can learn. The hope is that The Christian Culture will provide assistance in understanding the past, present, and future cultural applications of the Bible. Understanding the context in which and why God delivered certain lessons will help us to better live out The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and be The Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). God’s word was not meant to be read in pieces. It can only be understood when read as a whole and studied with the reason it was written thousands of years ago in mind. Read the Bible in a whole new way by learning the contexts of the Bible and how they were applied to ancient societies and also to modern ones.
